Cîroc is the only vodka in the world made from grapes, crafted in the Cognac region of France. Known for its glamorous, high-end image and backed by celebrity endorsements from the likes of P Diddy, Cîroc had a polished brand presence — but lacked imagery of its co-creator and master distiller, Jean-Sébastien Robicquet.

Diageo commissioned me to travel to the South of France and spend time with Jean-Sébastien at his distillery. The aim was to create a set of portraits and atmospheric imagery of the facility and surrounding landscape — images that reflected the craft, place, and personality behind the product.

The result was a collection of photographs that brought a new layer of authenticity and storytelling to the brand — offering a more human, grounded counterpoint to its high-gloss profile.
